Free website search compared with the paid PDF report
Searching this site and viewing a company summary is free, and always will be. The same underlying public data is also available directly from Companies House at no charge. The paid report is for convenience: retrieval, formatting, a dated snapshot and a document you can download and keep.

Why a downloadable copy is useful
A browser page is awkward to attach to an email, file with a client record or produce months later. A dated PDF states its own source and retrieval time, which is exactly what you need when the information has to travel beyond your screen.
- Attach company details to a tender, application or onboarding pack
- File a dated snapshot of the register alongside a contract
- Send company information to a colleague, client, accountant or solicitor
- Keep a record of how a company looked on the day you dealt with it
How the report is presented
Reports are produced as a clean A4 PDF with a cover page, contents, clearly separated sections and consistent typography. Every page carries the company name, company number, your order reference and the date and time the data was retrieved, so the document stands on its own when forwarded to a colleague, client or adviser.
Where the information comes from
All information comes from the Companies House public register, retrieved through the official public data service. No third-party scores, estimates or enrichment are added. Contains public sector information licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0. See data sources and updates for how current the information is and what the register cannot tell you.
What the report is not
- It is not an official or certified Companies House document.
- It is not a credit report, credit score or creditworthiness assessment.
- It is not legal, financial, accounting or investment advice.
- It does not confirm that a company is solvent, trustworthy or safe to trade with.
- It reflects what is recorded on the public register, which Companies House does not independently verify.
Delivery
Your report is prepared immediately after payment. You get an on-screen download link straight away. If anything goes wrong with delivery, contact us with your order reference and we will resend it.
